An exceptional project: Casino de Montréal

Pomerleau commissioned Summa Metal to assist with the Casino de Montréal renovations. Opened in 1993, this establishment has a rich history and enjoys an international reputation and a unique location on Île Notre-Dame, so we are proud to have participated in this ambitious project.

The architects relied on our specialized design, fabrication and installation services to create and install custom architectural and ornamental metal elements.

“This project required high-quality expertise and very precise execution. The work included several types of laser cutting and the application of specialized finishes, particularly on the perforated surfaces at the main entrance, which are actually like aluminum lace,” says Leandro Stella, Summa Metal president and the lead project manager.

This large Casino de Montréal renovation project took place over five years. Totaling $3.5 million, this project was completed on time and on budget due to close collaboration with the architects.

“Summa Metal can be summed up in two words: quality and collaboration!”

– Mr. Yves Dagenais, architect at Menkès Shooner Dagenais LeTourneux/Provencher Roy Architectes
